The spatial layout of the project is excellent, with a ceiling height of 6 meters and a well-proportioned interior. We immediately recognized how well such a space aligned with the tone of the "workshop" concept in the client's brand, "Bread Workshop." Therefore, we decided to "relocate" the project into an "industrial workshop" for redesign, highlighting the artisanal "workshop" quality of handmade bread.

Elements like display shelves crafted from raw wood, intentionally rusted metal components, and distressed paint mimicking peeling red brick walls recreate the wear and tear of a last-century workshop warehouse. These details revive the labor scenes of an old-fashioned bread workshop—stacked flour sacks and hanging copper molds.

The indoor shopping flow follows a circular path centered around a central display counter. Customers can browse freshly baked bread around the counter and check out at the exit, avoiding congestion during peak hours and reducing wait times. The central display counter uses steel structures and raw wood to replicate the equipment frames of early industrial workshops. Specially designed workshop shelves, with their layer heights and widths referencing traditional warehouse storage compartments, now showcase dried bread and vintage soft decorations. On the weathered black-painted boards, chalk-written updates announce seasonal baked goods and new product progress, blending the utilitarian aesthetics of last-century industrial spaces with today's "handmade bread with visible warmth" to create a steaming, lively atmosphere.
